Lunoris

The bite has its hour. The lake stills. A ripple where there was nothing. Then the rod tip trembles — and the whole day makes sense. Every angler lives for that stretch of time. The trouble is reaching it before it passes. Lunoris was made for people who would rather read the water than chase noise. THE SOLUNAR WATCH At the centre of the app is a 24-hour dial built for your coordinates — not the nearest city's forecast, but the sky above your spot. Blue arcs mark the major windows: the two hours each day when fish, by long observation, feed with purpose. Gold traces minor periods at moonrise and moonset. Moon overhead and underfoot sit at the top and bottom of the face. A hand moves through your local time. One look tells you where you stand. Inside the window? Twenty minutes early? Already past the peak? No almanac. No arithmetic. The whole day, readable at a glance. THE FISHING SCORE Below the dial, a score from 0 to 100 weighs moon phase, solunar timing, weather, barometric pressure, and geomagnetic activity into one plain verdict — Excellent, Good, Fair, or Poor. Leave now, or wait for the next arc? Lunoris lets you decide before you rig a rod. WHERE THE IDEA COMES FROM Anglers were reading the moon and barometer long before anyone shipped an app. In 1926, John Alden Knight went through thousands of catch records and found what old hands already suspected: feeding often clusters into windows tied to the moon passing overhead, underfoot, at rise, and at set.
