PlanForge is a two-in-one print-planning workbench for anyone who orders or produces printed jobs. Set up a run, read the numbers, and save every result you work out.
Getting started with Stock Calc:
1) Type your run size, page count, and paper weight in gsm.
2) Set the ink coverage and choose flat sheets or a folded booklet.
3) Pick a parent sheet (A4, A3, SRA3, B2) and add a spoilage margin.
4) Read back the parent sheets you need, the total paper weight, and the ink coverage area.
Getting started with Cut Layout:
1) Enter the width and height of one finished piece.
2) Set the quantity, edge margin, and gap between pieces.
3) Choose a parent sheet and fix the grain or find the best fit.
4) See a live diagram of the nested pieces, how many fit per sheet, the sheets required, and your yield and waste.
Every calculation is saved to a history log you can reopen, review line by line, or share as plain text. Tap a row for the full breakdown, or clear the log when a project wraps.
PlanForge runs fully offline and stores nothing about you. Figures are planning estimates, so confirm the final spec with your printer before ordering.
