I started building ClimberKit because I was tired of my projects disappearing into hundreds of unsorted videos in my camera roll.
ClimberKit is a place to record climbs with as little or as much detail as you want - grades, moves, skin quality, custom tags - and turn them into a clearer picture of your progress. I've always felt that there's a ton of value in analysis: rewatching attempts to study tricky moves, or sitting at the gym with a friend working through the beta together. Grades help, but they vary wildly from gym to gym (sometimes even within the same gym!), and I wanted something that let me actually measure progression.
Sharing your climbs matters a lot too, whether that's with a big audience or just with your friends and family. Today, ClimberKit lets you export your routes and sessions with multi-view video and stats overlays, and there'll be more tools coming soon that I can't wait to share.
This started as something I wanted for myself. As I've built it, I've kept sanding down the rough edges and adding the features I'd want to see - but I'm excited to finally share it with the climbing community and keep making it more useful for all of us.
