Need an easy way to calculate the weights of your high-protein feed and low-cost feed that you need to combine to get a feed mix with a specific protein percentage? Try our app to find out how much of each one you need to add.
The app gives you two main options:
1. Enter the protein percentage of the low-cost feed and the high protein feed, plus your target protein percentage and target weight of your final feed mix. The app will then tell you how much of each part you need to add to the mix to arrive at your target weight and protein percentage.
2. Enter the weight and protein percentage of each type of feed (e.g., low-cost, high protein, and balancer). The app will then calculate the final weight and protein percentage of what you plan to mix together.
You also have the option of adding a balancer feed pack to both types of calculations. If you choose to calculate with a balancer pack, you must enter both a protein % and the weight of the balancer pack.
