How to choose
Prioritize agents with explicit free labels and direct subtitle support like Vidkiller or Transcribe.Free to avoid hidden paywalls. Watch for usage caps that force upgrades after a few exports, especially on clippers like AutoClipr.ai. Test code-based tools like OpenEdit only if you already script workflows, as they trade ease for flexibility. Skip music or pure image-to-video tools even if listed free, since they skip actual editing and subtitles.
